Monday April 10: Skype Presentation and Open Source Discussion

On monday we will hear from James Cherkoff, who runs the blog Modern Marketing, one of our required blogs. He will be presenting on the topic Open Source Marketing. Please review this 'deck' before class. Some of the ideas should be familiar.

I will also be discussing the Open Source development model in general after the presentation (I have updated the economics materials to include more discussion on Open Source). I know this is last minute, but I would really appreciate it if you could read The Cathedral and the Bazaar and come to class prepared with your four key takeways to discuss. As you are reading this paper and preparing for class, consider how the discussion is also relevant for the development of Wikipedia.
